The aim of the Nuba association is to teach, practice and promote Japanese dance, in France and abroad. It aims to promote interaction between various artistic disciplines in order to create live shows on stages around the world. In France, the Nuba association wishes to create an artistic dialogue between Japanese and French cultures.
Who are we ?
Nuba (1901 association created in 1998) is both the largest and the most solid Japanese dance structure in France. His artistic and educational activities are known in Europe, the United States and Japan. The company was originally founded in 1990 in Tokyo. Animated by a spirit of universal beauty as well as by the exchange between people of various horizons linked by their passion for Japanese dance, Nuba has already brought together in France a thousand students who have worked under the direction of
Juju alishina. Its shows have been presented in Japan, the United States, Europe, and the company has participated in numerous international festivals.

Juju ALISHINA (choreographer, dancer) was trained at the school "Fujiwaka" - Japanese Traditional Dance School in Tokyo - where she obtained the diploma of professional dancer ("Natori") as well as the teaching diploma ("Shihan "). Juju ALISHINA founded in Tokyo his own company NUBA, with international influence. In 1998, she moved to Paris and developed there her own pedagogy of traditional and contemporary dance. Juju Alishina's choreographic work around Asian dance today calls on other disciplines. His dance method is published in three different languages and is read all over the world.
Authenticity
Dancers trained in Japan, in the most famous dance schools. The costumes and accessories are made in Japan in the purest tradition. The music was also recorded in Japan.

Juju Alishina draws on her 35 years of experience as a professional choreographer and dancer, and on a repertoire of more than 50 pieces, to bring you her expertise and guarantee you the extreme quality of the show.
