Butô dance in Paris
Nuba (1901 association created in 1998) is both the largest and the most solid structure for Butô dance in France. His artistic and educational activities are known in Europe, the United States and Japan. The company was originally founded in 1990 in Tokyo. Animated by a spirit of universal beauty as well as by the exchange between people of various horizons linked by their passion for Japanese dance, Nuba has already brought together in France a thousand students who have worked under the direction of Juju alishina. Its shows have been presented in Japan, the United States, Europe, and the company has participated in numerous international festivals.
